This weekend again climbing in
Bomal, Belgium.

Thursday evening, time to go to Bomal! The weather forecast was not to optimistic but we decided to go and see when the rain would come.
Friday turned out to be a good day for climbing! Edith, she never liked Bomal, was getting in her flow. Warming up by on-sighting 6a. After finishing an other 6a+ and working in some other routes.
For me, well how should I say this. My climbing day started by putting in my expresses in the wrong route. After warming up I was belaying Edith and was looking at my left-hand. It took me some while to come to the conclusion I had taped the wrong finger! Did not noticed it during warming up!!
So after this good start for me I send
Le plaisir des faibles (7a+), smooth at 2:go and
J'tencule newton (7b) after really hard work, this route is really hard! But satisfied!!
Time for dinner, a nice Belgium beer and a good night rest.
At Saturday we woke up 'cause of the rain, luckily I woke up in time, the sun-roof was still open as we sleep in our car, but bad for climbing. After the rain had stopped we had breakfast and went to the rock. All dry. Starting to warm up and feeling the work of the day before in my body. No core-tension. No energy! I only put up my expresses in two routes and then I was finished for the day!
Edith did some good work in her project by bouldering the first moves. After that we decided to go home early, some clouds with light rain came in.
Tired and satisfied, back to Haarlem.
On Sunday we watched the finals of the youth-championship in Haarlem.
