Frido climbs 'Elephant' (8a) Railay / Tonsai (Thailand)

Frido by SMS: "Ninja has killed the Elephant this morning. Only just one hour before the boat leaves!"

Super! He could not have whished for a better start of the season!

Plans for 2008: Kalymnos VII (Greece)

The weather is getting better, so time to plan trips to the rock again! Getting restless and ancious to get out! Time to let the energie out after months of telling myself it was better not to go to the rock due to my finger problems of the end of last season.

After weeks and weeks my fingers are feeling better and better. A view weeks ago I started my training again and it feels good!! Still have to take care of my fingers but we are getting there.

In May we will return to the beautiful island of Kalymnos, our seventh trip allready!

Two more weeks of discipline and than I have prommessed myself to go climbing outdoor again! Let the outdoor season start!!

Kalymnos VI (Greece)

Kalymnos Edition VI, a 10 day trip. First 7a for Jelmer!

This autumn I went back to Kalymnos for the 6^th time, not the way I had planned but I enjoyed!

Due to my finger problems I’m still not able to climb as I would like and have not been able to train for weeks! So back to Kalymnos with soar fingers and in bad shape!

This 10 day trip I went with Jelmer who also came to Kalymnos in spring with us. So also for him not the first visit! (and for certain not his last!) It must be something with this island that makes people want to come back!

Weekend Berdorf (Friday - Sunday). A beautiful weekend with perfect weather and good climbing for both!

Edith finished her first 7a+ (Yellow Submarine) and I was able to achieve my goal: finishing my 60^th 7^th graded route.

Bomal/Freyr (Belgium)

Yesterday Frido finished L'Infiniment Songe (7c) in Bomal, sector Calvaire. After hard work he got rewarded by finishing his project.

Last week on wednesday I went to Freyr with Mark for climbing, he did not do any climbing for the last three years, only bouldering. So for him: bouldering with rope.
